Description
Baylor Scott & White Health in Austin, TX is seeking a BE/BC abdominal or cardiothoracic imager to join a well-established team to provide further expansion and depth in imaging services. Candidates with a fellowship in abdominal or cardiothoracic imaging will be preferred. Job responsibilities would involve all modalities and access to multiple 1.5T and 3T magnets, as well as dual source CT. The position requires a comfort level in general diagnostic radiology, but interventional, breast and neuro expertise are not required. Cardiac imaging expertise is also not required of abdominal imaging applicants. PET/CT expertise is optional but would be beneficial. Normal daily workflow is a mix of outpatient and inpatient volume, as well as a hybrid mix of onsite (hospital and outpatient imaging center) and remote coverage.

Practice Overview
Baylor Scott and White Health in Central Texas is an integrated health system comprised of a multispecialty group practice employing more than 1400 physicians and research scientists, 14 hospitals and 55 clinics covering 25,000 square miles across Central Texas.
Founded in 1897, the Scott & White Clinic continues to expand its multispecialty group practice brand of medicine throughout Texas. The Scott & White Clinic is a component of Baylor Scott & White Healthcare which is the largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas.
About the radiology practice:
• 90 employed radiologists covering all subspecialties

Qualifications:
• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
