Collaborating with a facility in northern Texas that has an opportunity for a skilled radiologist to provide short-term locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Sunday-Saturday (8a-5p), specific dates
• Call shifts required
• Daily Volume: 10-12 procedures, 40-50 DX cases
• Case Split: 50% IR, 50% DX
• IR Procedures: Anything from basic procedures, to trauma embolizations, to occasional TIPS
• DX Cases: CT, MR, PF, US, and NM
• Support Staff: RPA for basic fluoroscopy cases and basic procedures
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Radiologist Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a Radiologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
